Indulge Me #4

 (Source: tumblr)

Again a personal rant about something that became really important to me during the last months and due to some circumstances and the life of another person I was faced with it again.

The thing I talk about: Getting Over Something.

Last year I had some tough things going on, events came thick and fast and I found myself in the middle of lies and deceit. I gave myself one week to drown in self pity, to re-think about everything and finally came to the conclusion that I don't need this person in my life.

Getting over something is one of the most important things you should do in life, rather than complaining and feeling pity for yourself all the time.
All of us faced a difficult situation, especially when you had all your heart and time invested in it. It doesn't matter whether it concernes your love life or your business life, fact is everything is screwed up and the only thing left is a hopeless you.
Now there is a choice to make: will you complain all the time to everyone you meet telling them what a horrible life you're living and how unfair it is or will you handle it like a grown-up person? Let's face it, everyone knows someone who whines 24/7 without a concrete reason and gets on your nerves. I don't get why people exaggerate so much about little things they could have avoid most of the time.

It just wasnt meant to be.

Life is like a game. It rarely goes our way, sometimes you just have to have faith and let the cards fall where they may. No one is able to say what comes next. Everyone plays this game, everyone put themselves into a situation in which they don't know the outcome, so they basically risk everything they have. Someone decides to study fashion management but ends up jobless, some others give their hearts and love to a person who might hurt them in the long-run. No one knows where we might end up, if you believe in God you can say God has a plan for everyone.
We all have to experience failure and are thrown back by unexpected situations. The question is, will you get back up or will you drown in self pity? Choose wisely, at first people will fully understand you, but when time goes by your whiny grumbling will get annoying.

I experienced that there comes a time in life where you have to let go of all the pointless drama and the people who create it. Instead spend time with people who make you laugh and focus solely on the good. Life is too short to be anything but happy.

"I don’t like to be serious all the time. Serious to me, is such a waste of time. Life is short. Why be serious all the time?" - Brian Joo

Drama of the week - Scent of a Woman

 (Source: mydramalist)

여인의 향기- Scent of a Woman "Scent of a Woman" deals with Lee Yeon Jae, a hard-working but not appreciated 30 year old woman. Yeon Jae is a total push over so she always runs after her colleagues and gets humiliated by them. Her whole life turns upside down when she finds out she has cancer and only around six months left. Yeon Jae decides to enjoy her life and makes a to-do-list with things she wants to do before she dies. Hence she resigns from her job and travels to Okinawa where she falls in love with the director of her former company, Gang Ji Uk.

The main actor is none other than Lee Dong Uk (이동욱,30),well-known for his roles in "Heartbreak Library", "My Girl" and "Partner". His acting skills are good enough to combine complexity and colour in his character and to prove that his character is not only a rich man without worries, but a caring person that changes a lot due to some circumstances. Lee Donk Uk plays Gang Ji Uk, the director of the travel company Yeon Jae used to work for. His father Gang Cheol Man, played by Lee Jeong Gil (이정길,67), tries to pitch his son into the arranged marriage with Im Se Gyeong, played by Seo Hyo Rim (서효,27). She is the daughter of a rich company president as well, but unlike Ji Uk totally spoiled, arrogant and egoistic.
Kim Seon A (김선아,36) took over the main female part as Lee Yeon Jae. Her acting is good, I only know her in this role, so I can't compare it to her roles in the past. Yeon Jae is quite annoying in the beginning but soon after she finds out about her cancer she changes- slowly. Nevertheless Seon A displays the character and her thoughts very well, Yeon Jae is dying with realism and restraint instead of being full of absurd girl dreams. Kim Seon A and Lee Dong Uk have an amazing chemistry in this drama, my favourite scene is the one in the tango room, I never saw such an intense dancing scene. Another important character is Chae Eun Seok, played by Eom Gi Jun (엄기준,36), who is not only Yeon Jaes doctor but also a childhood friend. He is neurotic and a bit socially awkward but he is the first drama-doctor who doesn't ignore his medical confidentiality.

Attention spoiler!!--> After watching "49 days" I changed my mind in terms of terminal illness dramas, even though I still don't want to watch them die. In "Scent of a Woman" the main point isn't her illness but how she deals with it and how it does change her life. While watching you learn a lot about appreciating your life and simple as it is, living it to the fullest without regrets. Yeon Jae and Ji Uk fall in love with each other so the latter one finds himself in a weird love triangle. On the one hand Yeon Jae, who is fatally ill but he doesn't know about it, on the other hand the arranged marriage with Se Gyeong, who he doesn't like but he does not want to disappoint his father (again). While he tries to become aware of his feelings Yeon Jae knows she won't have a future with Ji Uk, so the woman doesn't dare to dream of it either. Apart from her old friend and Eun Seok nobody knows she is ill. Yeon Jae doesn't want to tell her mother because her father already died of cancer when she was a teenager so she tries to hide her pain and act as normal as possible.
Her former colleagues learn to appreciate her and her work when Yeon Jae helps them out, she finds new friends in both the tango class and the hospital. When Hui Ju, a young 20 year old woman and a friend Yeon Jae makes in hospital, dies of cancer I was full of sorrow. Hui Ju is probably the strongest female character I saw so far in a korean drama. Aware of the fact she only has some weeks left she is full of joy and happiness and encourages other patients to laugh, love and live.
The story goes on and with it every character changes. Yeon Jae enjoys her life and tries to make her mother happy by finding her a new husband, Ji Uk learns to see the world and his life with different eyes, Eun Seok turns from a cold-hearted doctor to a caring and understanding one and Se Gyeong has to find out that she can't buy everything with the help of money. Ji Uks father opposes the relationship with Yeon Jae and soon after Ji Uk finds out she has cancer she abandons him because she doesn't want him to watch her die. However, this development happens in the last three episodes where Yeon Jae also finally tells her mother about her illness. The plot is very basic so the characters are given a lot of depth. Nothing happens without a reason, Eun Seoks screen time is not a waste of time because he is a necessary part of the drama. Same goes for Se Gyeong, she only turned into a psychotic and bitchy woman because of her exboyfriend who broke her heart and left her humiliated.
The drama doesn't end with Yeon Jaes death or with her sudden recovery but with her living an unknown future. Perhaps she has only some days left, perhaps another few weeks or even months. Yeon Jae doesn't care. Instead she writes another to-do list and enjoys every day she has left with her friends, family and Ji Uk.
I love this drama. It is not filled with lovey-dovey happy little girls who fall in love with rich guys and end up marrying them. You learn a lot about the values of life, it is realistic, not one of those teenager dramas I find really awkward and nasty. After finishing it I thought a lot about the meaning of life and asked myself whether I would be able to tell my mam about having cancer or keep it to myself as long as possible.

Instagram Diary #1

You can already see that I decided to hop onto the Instagram post bandwagon which is liked by a lot of bloggers lately. I love art so I do have a lot of interest in pictures displaying the daily life of others as well. Plus the nosey part of mine is satisfied as well.
Nearly everyone knows Instagram, if not: Instagram can be called a social network site based on photography where people from all over the world share their life in pictures with others.
Taking pictures and editing is not only a lot of fun (well at least for me) but also a quick and easy way to share things you are interested in and like with not only your friends and family but with everyone who is willing to take a look.

Above you can see a small collage of images from the last days in none specific order.

Feel free to follow me on Instagram :)

MAYS SPECIALE FEMALE ATTENTION Sarah Lee

Howdy everyone (lately I started to like this word...)

So today I would like to introduce you to one of my fellow youtube friends Soyoung / Sarah Lee (Onlee Amore).
There are some youtubers I love watching and think they are more than worth watching and I thought about an interesting way for everyone to get in touch with them and getting to know them without spending hours watching their videos. So I came up with this monthy interview thingy... It is pretty easy actually, a few personal question and rant about youtube, make-up and other things, whatever fits the person.

Let's get started with the first interview starring Sarah (◕‿◕✿)

1) Firstly, thank you for making time for this interview. would you give us a few standard information and introduce yourself in a few sentences?

Hi! My name is Sarah and I'm 21 going on 22 in august! I love everything creative and beauty is a passion I've had ever since I was young.

2) How did you end up in the youtube community? What was your intention of becoming a "make up guru"?

It was very random. 2009 is when I first started watching beauty videos on youtube. My sister encouraged me to make videos then, but I never had the courage to. With the help of her encouragement, I uploaded a video of me doing makeup on my sister in 2009, titled "Basic Makeup Tutorial for Beginners". That was my first and only video until 2011. I was working part-time at a cosmetic store called 'Amore' and was fascinated by beauty products. I wanted to share my experience with beauty products by reviewing them on youtube and that's how I got started.

3) What are you doing when you're not on camera? Do you have any outstanding hobbies?

I'm a graphic design major. I love doodling, painting and anything creative.

4) Since you are fluent in English and Korean is there any other languge you are fluent in or one you would like to study?

I only know how to speak Korean and English fluently. I would love to study french or chinese. I've always wanted to visit France one day!

5) Did the youtube community and becoming a partner affected you, like in the way you present yourself to others and the way you think?

Youtube community has helped me to be more confident and understand that everyone is different.

6) What are your thoughts about the massive exposure of korean music on the western/international entertainment industry?

I'm a Korean myself and I am proud that many people are entertained by Korean music.

7) Have you ever thought about attending an audition for a korean entertainment?

It's funny because I have thought about it quite a few times. I enjoy singing, but it's just a hobby :) Everytime I watch audition shows I always got inspired to enter, but it's just a thought, nothing serious.

8) Do you have any opinion about the korean beauty ideals and their impact on the beauty industry? What are your thoughts on plastic surgery in general?

I've never gotten plastic sugery myself and I don't plan to do so, but I can understand why some people decide on getting plastic surgery. I believe that it's a choice that you make and everyone who has decided on getting plastic surgery has their own reasons for doing so.

9) Wagging tongues claim once you receive money for a video it does affect not only the validity of the review but also your whole attitude, what do you think about it?

I haven't filmed a sponsored video yet, but if I ever do in the future, I will be only stating honest opinions about whatever I may be reviewing.

10) Is there anyone you admire and look up to?

My parents are my inspiration. They are happily married for over 20 years and they are the most honest and caring people I'll ever meet in my life.

11) Among all those youtube gurus who is your favourite one?

I love watching missglamorazzi, frmheadtotoe & thatsheart!

So, I hope you guys enjoyed reading this as much as I enjoyed creating this post. Below I list all sites where you can find Sarah, make sure to check them out.

Review: Essential Ultra Honey & Shea Butter Hair Mask

What Essential claims:

Essential NUANCE AIRY Ultra Honey Hair Mask is formulated with 3X more high purity honey and milk protein to protect and strengthen. It provides intensive care, especially to the last 15 cm of hair, which is prone to dryness, tangles and split ends. Hair is left soft, elastic and easy to manage. The mask gives a scent of flower and fruit.
It is added with shea butter, a repairing and moisturizing ingredient, to make hair extra smooth. Wild rose essence leaves a protective layer to keep hair soft and moisturized.
The product leaves hair airy. It gives limp and flat hair a light and bouncy feel. It provides intensive care for severely damaged hair, without the heaviness.
Recommended for use 2 to 3 times a week.

My thoughts:
After hearing amazing things about this hair mask I purchased it on sasa for around 9$. It is a japanese brand known for its two different hair lines: Nuance Airy (pink line) and Rich Premier (yellow line), both for damaged and dry hair.
The smell is very strong and I don't really like it that much, but it is bearable. However the mask leaves a nice scent after you washed it out. Because of the good structure it is easy to spread on your hair without using too much product.
The result is so-so. On the one hand the hair is shiny, soft and feels less dry at the ends. On the other hand my hair loses all it's structure and is left flat, I guess this mask is too rich for my hair.
Do I recommend it? Mhm I would say yes. I do like to use it even though my hair has no volume whatsoever afterwards, but I can feel the mask does moisturise very well.

Indulge me #3

Lately I spend a lot of time alone. It's not that I haven't the opportunity to meet up with friends I just enjoy being alone more. Perhaps you know this feeling where you don't want to talk to anybody, where you don't want to be bothered, you don't want to force a smile and make them believe you're happy. This is how I feel right now, I am already used to it. Every now and then I have to live in my own little world, not because I face any problems, just because... well honestly speaking I don't know what's wrong either.
If you experienced it you know what I mean, if not, well, then I don't really have a clue how to describe and explain it. Being alone is everything I long for currently and I can't hide it. Yesterday I was at my boyfee's home and he asked me several times what's wrong. He didn't took "Nothing" or "I don't know" as an answer and kept on asking, even though he might have felt he won't get a satisfying answer.
I have no idea how long it will taket this time until the feeling is gone, from my experience I guess a few more days. Until then all I can and will do is waiting.

 (Source: tumblr)

If you wonder how I spend my times being all alone: watching korean dramas and listening to movies while walking or driving around. I love it. The music gives me the feeling I am in a different world while exploring the city.

(Source: tumblr)
Actually right now I only wait for the month to end. I planned to savour every single day, this sounds corny I know, but living every day to the fullest. Yet all I do is counting the days until I get my new camera. I want to make new videos and refilm the old one, I want to take pictures.

Oh and something that is on my mind recently: Isn't it weird how much our name matches us? Even though we couldn't choose it? I talked to Jacky about it earlier too.
I don't think it is just because we are used to it so we can't imagine another name. I do believe a name is more than just our name. It describes us.
For instance, my name is Annika.
Originally from Anna (Hebrew) it is often used in Sweden, Germany, in the Netherlands as well as in England. It is not bold, unique or outstanding, yet I love the meaning behind it. "Sweet-faced", "God has favoured me", gracious and merciful. I would say it does well at describing me.

So... what if our personality depends on our names?

Let's end this post with one of my favourite songs by Big Bang:

Drama of the week: The Greatest Love

"The Greatest Love" describes a love square between four people who couldn't be more different. This drama moves from comical to sad over to sweet and maddening.

(source: mydramalist)

최고의 사랑 - The Greatest Love Gu Ae Jeong is a D-idol always trying to fight for her place in the spotlight, even though she has a bad reputation for years. On the other hand Dok Go Jin, a top star and loved by whole South Korea, hasn't hit his peak yet and it seems like he is on the verge of going to Hollywood. One day Gu Ae Jeong meets Dok Go Jin, who is rude and vain in private and from this day on their paths continue to cross. When Gu Ae Jeong takes part in a popular dating variety show, hosted by her former band mate, her life seems to change finally.

Again, this drama is filled with experienced actors and actresses. First of all Cha Seung Won (
차승원,41) not only lends Dok Go Jin his body and voice, but is also an amazing and professional actor. Known for his acting in "Athena", "Secret" and T-ARA's MV "Cry Cry" he was by far the best option for this role. Cha Seung Won not only makes this drama worth seeing, but you also fall in love with his character and the plot. I loved all scenes with him and played them again and again. Gong Hye Jin (공효진,32) plays Gu Ae Jeong and again, she knows acting. Gong Hye Jin also had the main role in the TV drama "Pasta" as well as in some movies. As I said, her acting is really good, nevertheless I think Lee Yo Won would have been a better cast. Gu Ae Jeong knows her place in society and in the idol world, she is realistic and down to earth.
Next one of my favourite actresses right now: Yu In Na (
유인나,29) as Gang Se Ri, the best cast I can think of. Yes, I am biased, but this woman is just so beautiful and talented. I already admired her in "Secret Garden", "My black minidress" and currently in "Queen In Hyeon's Man". Even though her characters are a little bit annoying from time to time I never find herself bothersome and love every little scene with her in.
Yun Gye Sang (윤계상,33) plays the nice and good-looking doctor Yun Pil Ju who takes part in the dating variety show together with Gu Ae Jeong. During the whole drama I felt so sorry for him and wished he would date Gang Se Ri in the end. His acting is good, it is unfair to compare him with Cha Seung Won who beats the pants off Yun Gye Sang,. Lee Hui Jin (이희진,32) plays Gu Ae Jeong's old friend and former band member Jenny. Her acting is good, sometimes I find her character a little bit annoying.

ATTENTION SPOILER!!--> 10 years ago Gu Ae Jeong, Gang Se Ri, Jenny and Han Mi Na were members of the top girl group "National Treasure Girls", but 18 months after their debut they broke up. Their paths went separate ways. Gang Se Ri works on her career and ends up being popular and loved because of her fake relationship with top actor Dok Go Jin. Han Mi Na left South Korea without contacting the other girls again afterwards, Jenny opened a little restaurant while Gu Ae Jeong tries everything to stay in the spotlight. Her solo album flopped, negative rumors started to swirl around her and destroyed her status in both society and in the idol world. In the present she has to take care of her father, brother and his little son by appearing on radio or TV shows, regardless of whether she makes a monkey of herself or not.
While Gu Ae Jeong struggles Dok Go Jin is loved by everyone, an action star who is sexy yet nice and humble- on the outside. Truth is, Dok Go Jin is the incarnation of an arrogant, egoistic and self absorbed asshole. Gu Ae Jeong and Dok Go Jin meet by accident at a gas station, she stands next to his remarkable big van and is flattered when a fan recognises her. Out of curiosity she peers through the windows to see who's van it is, Dok Go Jin misunderstands her behaviour and writes his autograph on her hand.
Their paths cross again in a TV broadcasting company where Gu Ae Jeong finds herself hiding in his dressing room and overhears an interesting conversation between Dok Go Jin and his manager. Before she can leave unseen she meets Dok Go Jin who writes his autograph on her scarf and she realises he is the arrogant star at the gas station. Later Gu Ae Jeong appears on a variety show and sees her chance by lying and saying she knows Dok Go Jin and telling the crew he would take part in the phone quiz. Surprisingly he picks up the phone and this is the start of their tumultous relationship with more up and downs you can imagine.
Gu Ae Jeong takes part in a famous dating variety show where she encounters Yun Pil Ju again. He ignores the plans of the show writers and gives Gu Ae Jeong a rose so she doesn't have to leave the show after the first episode. The former top star finds herself in a love square- on the one hand Dok Go Jin who's intentions are questionable, on the other hand Yun Pil Ju who cares for her and becomes a good and close friend and on top Gang Se Ri, who starts to like Yun Pil Ju. I felt so sorry for Yun Pil Ju, he is such a warmhearted and nice person who definitely deserves to be loved back. The conditions of the relationship between Dok Go Jin and Gu Ae Jeong reminded me a lot of "Secret Garden". The ending is cute and a bit corny, the OST is awesome and I listen to it every now and then again.
This drama is not only a winner but is also describes the behind-the-scenes life of the entertainment industry; eye opening yet really funny.

Final rating:
★★★★★

Review: L'Oreal Super Liner Black Lacquer

Running out of eyeliner I was forced to my gel eyeliner I bought from Hong Kong, and well, I hate gel eyeliner, it just never stays on my eyes and smudges wherever it can go.
When I saw a similiar eyeliner on Suzi's blog I decided to give L'Oreal a chance. Lately I used a lot of their products and liked them a lot so far.

What L'Oreal claims:
Superliner is a liquid eyeliner in a special sponge tipped pen for the creation of fine lines or thick, sultry flicks. Colour is applied with precision and ease and dries without smudging.

My thoughts:
I love this product. The tip applicator makes it really easy to line the eyes, whether you want a thin and fine line or go for a thick cat-eye look. It stays on all day long and doesn't smudge yet it's easy to remove in the night. First I was afraid of the vinyl shine but you can barely see it plus it does look really beautiful. If you look for an eyeliner right now but don't have a lot of experience try this one. This eyeliner is by far the easiest in terms of handling.

Indulge me #2

Sincerity and compromises.

Today is one of those days where I again think way too much about people and life in general. Rain has always this unbelievable power on me to doubt everything I'm doing and living for.
First of all I wonder whether I really take myself seriously. I always thought I do, however today I realise if I do, why do I spend so much time watching TV, dreaming and counting the time to see someone special when I should better put my life together.
Don't misunderstand me, it's not that out of control, but there are still some pieces which fly around. Making myself happy is something I learnt some months ago, yet right now I catch myself how I base my whole happiness and life on someone. You should never do that, once this special person acts different or, even worse, walks out of your life, you're screwed. Like really screwed. Fucked up. Seriously.
Life is passing me by and once again I realise I am not enjoying it the way I should.

 (Source: tumblr)

This has to end now, because I can't control how everything will turn out. Here I mean my relationship and the future it may contain. Is it weird that I think about the next three, five and ten years? Is it wrong? Should I better live my life to the fullest now instead of imagine how it may turn out?

Being in a relationship isn't a one way thing, rather it has to be done with a mutual understanding. Am I too negative to keep in mind everything will run smoothly and that I will always be happy? Both of us are different, we think different, live different. My ideals may not be his ideals. I am aware that not everything will go my way and I have to accept it. Making compromises is something I still have to learn, but at the same time I have to find out what I expect from him, from me and from my life.

Instead of stuff myself with chocolate or other sweet stuff I decided to buy me some berries.

I love shakes especially with berries, they always cheer me up plus they are healthy. If I could afford it I would eat them the whole day.

I'm going to end this post with two of my current favourite songs, both from the "The Greatest Love" OST.

This drama as well as the OST is amazing, I really enjoy watching it. It is worth every single minute. When you're interested in korean dramas and have some free time on your hands right now, go and watch it! You won't regret it. (◕‿◕✿)

Review: Nivea Straight & Easy Straightener Balm

What Nivea claims:

Straight & Easy Straightening Balm guarantees straight, shiny hair immediately and long-lastingly. It guarantees easier and faster straightening with a hairdryer, without the need of a brush. Straight & Easy Balm protects your hair effectively from humidity and thus makes the straight effect last longer.

My thoughts: I hate this product. I bought it because my hair isn't naturally straight yet not curly, just wavy here and there. However I don't like to use too much heat on my hair so I thought this balm might be the perfect alternative. I applied it as I should, after washing my hair I wrapped it up in a towel until it was damp, then I applied the product while combing with a wide toothed comb to distribute it evenly. Last but not least I blow dried it using a big round brush. The result was disappointing not only because my hair wasn't straight but also because it was sticky and you could feel the product in it. I only used this balm onced, I guess it will meet my dustbin soon.

Glossybox April 2012

Just a few pictures from the recent Glossybox (German version). I actually love the idea of getting a package every month with some nice products to try out. But I am so disappointed with the box lately and this one was the worst box you can imagine.
As you may see, I got an Illamasqua lipgloss. To be honest I wanted to try this brand out for some time now, so I was really anxious when I read it will be featured in the April Box. However, thanks to my bad luck I got it in the colour Repulse- a pure black. First I thought it won't be as black as it is in the tube once you apply it but naahhh, unfortunately it doesn't fades.
Next was a blusher by BM Beauty. I never heard of it and the box is pretty little, so I don't know yet how I should apply it. It is a mineral blush in the colour Peachy Glow. Furthermore I received a lippie by Sans Soucis in Pink, a shampoo by Guhl for long hair, a probe of Thomas Sabo's parfum Charm Kiss and an eyeliner by Cosline in the colour aubergine.

Over all, not breathtaking or interesting (for my taste). I recalled it immediately, after nearly one year with more or less useless products I don't want to waste my money for it anymore.

Are you subscribed to Glossybox? Do you like it?

Polka Dot Nails

The days become longer, sunnier and brighter, so I wanted my nails to go along with the greath weather we have lately.

Polishes I used:
elf Nail Polish in Clear
Manhattan MNY white in 11A
Manhattan MNY coral in 34K

What you need:
nail polish you like
top coat
dotting tool

This is pretty basic, first you apply a clear nail polish to prevent any yellowness on your nails, then you apply your choice of colour. In my case it was this bright coral colour by MNY.

Using a dotting tool is the easiest and fastest way to create those little dots, instead you can use bobby pins or something similiar. Last but not least seal everything with a top coat.

Easy and fast yet really cute and perfect for spring / summer. Happy polishing!

Drama of the week - Lie to me

"Lie to me" a korean drama starring my all time favourite actor Gang Ji Hwan as the male actor. Who wonders I had to watch it?

 (Source: mydramalist)

내게 거짓말을 해봐 - Try lying to me aka Lie to me

Gong A Jeong is quickly nearing her 30s and instead of being happy married she works as a hapless but dedicated civil servant. Some day she meets an old school rival who pokes fun at her because A Jeong is still without a man. Instead of ignoring her she fakes a phone call from her 'husband'. Little did she know that this little rumour turns into a big lie, A Jeong caught in the middle. After her rival's friends spotted her several times around the well known hotel director Hyeon Gi Jun they assume him being the mistery husband.

Gang Ji Hwan (강지환,35), one of the best-known korean actors due to his acting in "Coffee House", "A Movie is a Movie" and "Love is blind", plays the cocky chabeol and hotel director Hyeon Gi Jun. He was the best cast for this role, his acting skills are one of the best and Ji Hwan can pull off arrogant characters like nobody else. Yes, I am biased but when you watch a movie or a drama with him in the leading role you will know why I admire this guy. Every drama/movie starring Gang Ji Hwan is superb, thrilling yet funny. Moving on to the female main role Gong A Jeong played by Yun Eun Hye (윤은혜,27), another famous korean actress known for her roles in "My black minidress" and "The 1st shop of Coffee Prince". Again, a famous and amazing actress with awesome acting skills and enough experience to rock the role perfectly. There is nothing else to say, both Ji Hwan and Eun Hye are awesome actors, they know what they're doing. Seong Jun (성준,21) plays Gi Jun's little creative brother Hyeong Sang Hui. He starred in the drama "Shut up" as well, I haven't watched it yet but his skills in this drama are quite good. Next to Ji Hwan he is still an amateur but I liked to watch scenes with him. Another important character is Gi Jun's exgirlfriend O Yun Ju played by Jo Yun Hui (조윤희,29). They broke up because of Sang Hui who fell in love with her but then left Korea after he found out Gi Jun and Yun Ju planned to get married. She then left for France to study and live there. A Jeong's so called friend Yu So Ran is played by Hong Su Hyeon (홍수현,31). She stole A Jeong's first love and married him a few years later. I love this woman, I really do. She is beautiful, her acting skills are really good and I symphatises a lot with her. Let's talk about the villain Sim Ae Gyeong, Gi Jun's and Sang Hui's aunt, played by Lee Gyeong Jin (이경진,55). In contrast to other dramas her screen time is pretty little which causes the whole drama to be less childish and more grown-up, Gi Jun stands up for his actions and doesn't whine around. The other supporting roles aren't important, most of the history is produces between the main roles plus Sang Hui and Yun Ju.

ATTENTION SPOILER!!--> So what might happen after A Jeong so called friends found out her 'husband' is nobody else than the rich and handsome hotel director Hyeon Gi Jun? Right, they're jealous and curious. Don't ask me why Gi Jun plays along with A Jeong but he invites her "friends" to his home where he and A Jeong pretend to be a happy married couple. Her friends can't believe their eyes and when Gi Jun's aunt Ae Gyeong comes over for a surprise visit you will cry from laughter. Everything gets out of control when his ex-fiancée Yun Ju comes back and with her his old feelings. Even though he broke up with her they meet again and have a late night date. Of course they get spotted by So Ran who immediately accuses him to cheat on A Jeong. She is satisfied to see A Jeong a bit heartbroken, because the young woman starts to have serious feelings for the hotel director yet she knows she probably isn't able to hold a candle to Yun Ju. All the while her new friend Sang Hui stands by her side without her knowing he is Gi Jun's little brother and without him knowing she "dates" his older brother.
The drama starts all over again when Sang Hui falls in love with Gi Jun's woman again, but this time it's not Yun Ju but A Jeong. But instead of running away again and causing his brother a lot of stress he keeps his feelings a secret. Yun Ju tries everything to get Gi Jun back, the character gets really annoying. While So Ra was a jealous rival in the beginning she and A Jeong become friends again. A Jeong finds out that So Ra hasn't the perfect life she is pretending to have and finds out her husband (and A Jeong's former Sunbae and college love) cheats on her.
In the end A Jeong and Gi Jun find to each other without breaking too many hearts and So Ra starts over again with her husband.
The red line is always visible, the ending predictable yet the drama never loses it's suspense. Do I recommend this drama? Yes I definitely do! It combines awesome actors, amazing acting skills and a basic but enthralling and really funny storyline.
