Review: Rimmel Lasting Finish - Birthday Suit

Hello Beauty Junkies ~

I FREAKIN LOOOOOOOOOVE THIS LIPPIE!!

It's not really a nude color, it's more a dark peachy brown with some nice shimmer and a gold undertone, but it's neutral enough to wear it on a daily basis.
This lippie isn't as creamy as my YSL or the Maybelline Moisture Extreme but it doesn't dry my lips out (nevertheless I always apply lip balm first).
The pigmentation is great, the formula is quite good and it lasts some hours.
I think this tone is perfect for those pale girls out there who have a warm undertone.
But the best thing about this lipstick: The smell.
When I applied it for the first time I couldn't stop to take a smell at it. It has some vanilla scent in it, but also some cake smell, it's just gorgeous.
I paid less than £ 4,00 and it's so worth it!

Review: Maybelline Moisture Extreme - Luminious Beige

Hello Beauty Junkies ~

This is one of my favourite nude lippies.

On the lips it looks natural and shiny and I love this sweet vanilla scent, it smells so delicious.
When you apply it it feels more like a lip balm than a lipstick and the moisture stays pretty long (well, for me). When you don't drink or eat it will stay on your lips forever, otherwise you need to re-apply it. All the colors are really pretty, they're light and don't feel sticky. The pigmentation is really great, so you only need 1 or 2 layers to cover your lips.
The texture remindsme of my YVS Lipsticks, it's creamy and smooth.
Well, the packaging is okay, pretty basic and nothing special. I will repurchase this as well as buying some other colors too.

Review: Yves Saint Laurent Rouge Volupte # 1 Nude Beige

Hello Beauty Junkies ~

I LOVE Yves Saint Laurent Rouge Volupte Lipsticks.
The texture of those lippies is just amazing! Smooth and silky, they give your lips an adorable milky look. It feels creamy, soft and you only need to apply a small amount hence it's very pigmented. It doesn't dry out my lips and they just look rich of color and shiny.

#1 is actually a neutral beige-pink color, looks sexy and has SPF 15. Yet it's gorgeous it doesn't last that long. Unfortunately. I love this lippie, it's definitely one of my favourites, but you shouldn't wear it on a date with your boyfriend when you plan to make out.
The packaging is gorgeous too. When I apply it heads always turn to see what it is, but due to the packaging it's a bit heavy. (To be honest: The only reason why I got this lipstick was because of this amazing and outstanding packaging... shame on me~)

Moreover it's petty pricy for a lipstick, but I love it so much so I'm willing to pay for it.

Review: Maybelline Color Sensational Intense Pink

Hello Beauty Junkies ~

Back then I wanted to buy me a nice Barbie Pink lipstick. I got this one, was curious yet nervous whether it would really suit me.
It's a drugstore product, so it isn't that expensive and I gave it a try.
The first thing I noticed was this light vanilla (?) scent.

The color in the tube is more pigmented than the color on my lips, I would say on the lips the coverage is average. The color somehow turns out to be a little bit frosty and shimmery, so stay away from this lippie when you're more into matte ones.
The packaging is okay, nothing outstanding but nice. Also when the texture is creamy and smooth it dries my lips out. I always need to moisturize my lips more that usual before I apply this lipstick.
It lasts a long time and I like to wear it to Smokey Eyes. I don't know yet whether I will buy some more colors or not, but the price is okay, so if you want to give it a try, go for it.

Review: E.L.F. - Mineral Lipstick Cool Coral

Hello Beauty Junkies ~

I love E.L.F. products. Well, not all of them, but a few are just gorgeous! So I got me a lipstick from the mineral line. Actually I don't like mineral cosmetic that much, but this color looked amazing, so I gave it a try.

First things first: DON'T TRUST THE SWATCHES ON THE WEBSITE!

On the website Cool Coral appears lighter, but in reality it's darker and higher pigmented. It's a rosy-redish coral with some golden shimmer in it.
Because this lippie is mineral oil free it's very moisturising and last at least 4 hours. The packaging is simple, a basic black with the logo on top of it, but I like it.
The quality is really great for the price (£3.50) and I will definitely buy some other shades in the future.
Like I said before: if you want to purchase them online you should look for some swatches online, otherwise you will be surprised (and disappointed?).

Review: E.L.F. - Tone Correcting Concealer

Hello Beauty Junkies~

When I purchased the first time from E.L.F. I also bought this concealer. It was only £1,50 so if it won't work it would be okay hence I didn't wasted too much money on it.
I got it in Ivory, actually I was surprised that they offer so many different shades. Hence it was pretty cheap I was sceptical whether it would work for me. After I tried it on I was really disappointed.

(before)

(after 3 coats/ the lighting has changed)

My dark circles aren't that bad, but I need an average coverage to be satisfied and this product didn't cover them at all.
Perhaps it is because of the liquid, thin and watery consistency that it won't work as I hoped it would. Furthermore the concealer is very oily. Back then I used it to cover some blemishes but it broke me out.
It also creases a lot, when it dried you will see the product hence it darkened a lot. It might work as a highlighter for some, but as fas as I know is Ivory the lightes color they offer so I can't use it to brighten my skin. The concealer also has some orange smell which I don't mind but think is unnecessary unless you apply it under your nose area.

I don't recommend this concealer, cheap in price and quality.

Review: Max Factor False Lash Effect

Hello Beauty Junkies ~

(Source: google)

I saw the advertisement for this mascara and was fascinated. Hence I wanted to try a new product I bought this one and have since fallen in love with it.
The bristle is chunky so it's easy to get all lashes done immediately, my lashes look fuller and longer, it lasts all day long without smudging and is easy to remove.

(Source: google)

The formula is just great, it's neither too dry not too wet, so the mascara doesn't clump. Also when it gives you full and long lashes, it won't be as extreme as falsies.
For a mascara it might be a bit pricey, so I try to purchase it when it's on sale.

Review: Revlon Colorstay Foundation

I've been using the Revlon Colorstay Foundation for over 1 year now and really like it.
When you look for a foundation with great coverage, which is buildable, long-lasting and won't get on your clothes, this product might be something for you.
It stays for 12-16 hours after application and won't get crumbly. I use the Ivory 110 (for Combination / Oily Skin btw) and it's actually the only drugstore foundation that matches with my skin tone completely.
This foundation is not so heavy, like for example foundations by MAC, nevertheless sometimes I have to get accustomed to it.
I don't use it on a daily basis, only when I'm going out and need a good coverage.
Moreover this foundation only has SPF 6, so you will need some extra sunscreen.

I have no problems with break outs, but hence I don't use it frequently I can't tell whether you will break out or not.
