Charlotte Ronson Spring/Summer 2013 Collection

Edgy and grungy yet feminine and a simple, just-woke-up style describe the whole collection of Charlotte Ronson the best.
On the one hand serene shirts and strap dresses, while on the other hand we get to see a lot of skin since the collection is predominantly filled with shorts and undergarments as tops. The chart of colour range is totally mixed, in between light shades like white and grey you will spot a lot of splashes of greens, blues and reds.

The reptile net works great with the leather she used for a few styles, it gives a strong and dominant effect. Most of her outfits were styled with plattforms to enhance not only the models body and gait but also the feminine appeal.

Another style which draw my attention to it are these translucent plastic jackets which came in different colours. Charlotte Ronson paired it with lace shorts or shorts in general and it amazed me that this ancient trend goes so well with modern fashion.

As for the models' look everything was quite simple. Strong brows and nude lips were combined with natural hair styles to complement the collection. The match of soft bends and a matte finish strikes a balance between wavy and straight.

Overall a really interesting collection of simple but fashionable styles. For more pictures and details of shoes and bags click on 'Read more'.
