New BB Cream with Vibrant Applicators

A while ago I already read about vibrant applicators which came with some BB Creams and I guess everyone who is into Asian beauty and follows current trends heard about it as well. These applicators I am talking about are devices for applying BB Cream as well as foundation to get a flawless and even finish. Since BB Creams are hyped in Asia a lot of Korean brands are already selling vibrant applicators along with their BB Creams. Let's start with an overall introduction.

The idea behind a vibrant applicator in general isn't new, the first device of this kind was launched back in 2009 by Lancome. As far as I am informed it was only available in the US, I couldn't find it neither on the british nor on the german Lancome website. This battery-operated device vibrates over 7 000 time per minute and promises a seamless, even make-up result.

The vibrant applicators for BB Creams work in the same way. You either apply a small amount of Cream onto the sponge or spread a few dots on your face, next you start the applicator and sweep it over your face, the applicator will do the rest. Alright, let's have a closer look on different brands.

  • is quickly absorbed by the skin and provides a medium coverage
  • builable coverage, it applies the foundation evenly and flawlessy for a satin finish
  • removable puffs, but no extra puffs included
  • separated puffs are available on ebay
  • price for the foundation and the applicator ~$40, separated puffs ~$4
  • where to buy: ebay  extra puffs: ebay

Overall

When you compare the different vibrant applicator every single one seem to promise the same thing, but the price can differ a lot. The best choices are the TOK TOK PRO TOUCH and IT'S SKIN SCULPT SKIN. With the first one you have different puffs which you can use for a variety of products, plus you can purchase the device separately. IT'S SKIN SCULPT SKIN doesn't provide you with extra puffs but they are available for a reasonable price and it comes with a BB Cream.

I still think about trying one of the above, but right now I am not quite sure which one and at the moment I like to apply my BB Cream with my fingers.  ( ̄ー ̄)

Black & White Make-up | Tutorial

I happened to be a bit bored this weekend and since I felt I haven't done a over the top make-up for quite a while I ended up with this black and white mixture. Probably not for everyone to wear on a daily basis, but it is a lot of fun getting this done.

Products used:
Zoeva Eye Primer
Sugarpill eyeshadow - Tako
Sleek Au Naturel Palette - Noir
Astor black kohl pencil
L'Oreal Studio Secrets Professional 90°Mascara
Sleek blush - Nude

I also mixed the songs for this video kind of myself- a mix of the instrumental version of "Loving U" by SISTAR and the actual song as well as two segments of "Holiday", also by the named group. It is by far not perfect, you can make out where I cut it, but I quite like it nevertheless. (⌒▽⌒)☆

New in: Zoeva brush | Haul

A few days ago I just wrote a "New in" post, nevertheless I have another one today as well.
Right now I am in the middle of buying new brushes since my old ones are quite cheap and most of them can't be used anymore after cleaning and washing them a couple of times.

I really like the brushes by Zoeva, so after receiving my last brushes I decided to have another blush brush right away- well more or less right away. Before I always used the same brush for different colours, but unfortunately I ended up having glitter in my matt blushes. T____T

I got two examples too which I will try out the next couple of days. As you can see below the blush brush is angled which I prefer while applying blush, I think it is easier to handle.

New in | Haul

I wanted to have gold spike earrings for quite a while now and when I saw these on ebay I had to get them. Unfortunately it seems all the shop information are only available on ebay Germany, but have a look yourself.

The earrings came in a cute little blue box. The quality is really nice, even though they were cheap they don't look or feel cheap at all.

Another thing I looked for vehemently was the Revlon Colorstay foundation. One or two years ago Revlon was discontinued from the German market entirely, so I had to buy it online but most of the time the shipping fee was more than the actual product price and I decided against it.
Even though I mostly wear BB Cream during the day I like to wear a light foundation when I go out, but I can't stand most of the foundations and the feeling on the skin plus they were always too dark for my fair skin. This was the first one I liked and which shade is perfect. I will probably use it forever and ever.
